The singers of Cantabella Children's Chorus have been spreading holiday cheer and beautiful music across the Livermore Valley. In classes and rehearsals, which began in September, the young people prepared a repertoire of choral pieces. Their first performance of the season was on November 30 at Livermore's Bankhead Theater when they sang with David Benoit in his "A Charlie Brown Christmas." Cantabella's board president, Howard Tsztoo, said, "It was a thrill to see the children performing with a fine professional like David Benoit." He continued, "David told the audience that he never knows what to expect when he performs with a local group, but that the Cantabella singers were amazing and very well-prepared."

Cantabella performed at Asbury United Methodist Church during a luncheon for the Daughters of the American Revolution on December 3. The chorus also performed twice at the Las Positas College and Valley Concert Chorale Joint Holiday Concerts in Pleasanton and Livermore on December 3 and 4. On December 6, Cantabella singers entertained at Hope Hospice's Lights of the Valley tree-lighting event at the Robert Livermore Community Center in Livermore. They sang at four performances of Valley Dance Theater's Nutcracker Ballet at the Bankhead Theater, and participated in the Interfaith Christmas Festival at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
