LCAC Marks 50th Year

On October 5th, the Livermore Cultural Arts Council (LCAC) celebrated five decades of challenges and successes. More than 100 people attended the 50th Anniversary celebration in the Cresta Blanca Room at the Robert Livermore Community Center.

"Appreciation for the cultural arts is the glue that holds a community together," said LCAC President Lynn Seppala. "Divisions that tend to separate a community disappear when you laugh or cry at a performance with people of diverse ethnic, religious or political persuasions."
