Moving Quickly to Connect BART and ACE

Kudos to the Tri-Valley San Joaquin Valley Regional Rail Authority for moving forward rapidly with a plan to connect BART with ACE.

Supervisor Scott Haggerty deserves credit for pushing the plans forward that will provide the connection more cheaply, earlier, and use modern technology. The train will consist of hybrid multiple units that use batteries and engines. In the future, the trains could run on battery packs only.
