The first-ever free Tri-Valley Health Fair will be held Saturday, August 23. The fair will provide state-mandated health, vision and dental screenings to area students.

"Important screenings will be going on but in a carnival atmosphere," said event organizer Beth Sblendorio. "We will have many fun activities for the children, including food and entertainment, mariachi and folklore dancers, Zumba lessons, and face painting. We're also working on a balloon maker and strolling magician to entertain the kids while they're waiting for their screenings."
