Invalid Signatures End Dublin Recalls; Gupta Won’t Run Again

The drives to recall Dublin Councilmember Abe Gupta and Dublin Unified School District (DUSD) trustee Dan Cunningham have fallen short of the required number of signatures to qualify for the Nov. 6 ballot.

County Registrar of Voters Tim Dupuis issued a statement to the City of Dublin announcing the Gupta recall shortfall last week. Dupuis also notified DUSD about the failure of the Cunningham recall.
