Resident Sues Livermore, Says Council Slanted Health Initiative’s Title

A Livermore resident has filed suit against the city, claiming that the City Council has shown “deliberate bias” against the Health Care Initiative that is heading for the city’s Nov. 6 ballot.

The plaintiff is Linda Guthrie, according to a news release from the SEIU-HealthCare Workers West (HCW), which organized the drive that resulted in enough signatures to require the council to place it on the ballot.
