Roof Fire at Harvest Park Damages Library at Harvest Park Middle School

A fire that burned some of the roof and attic above the library at Harvest Park Middle School has forced the Pleasanton Unified School District to convert four portable buildings into book storage facilities.

The fire at the school on Valley Avenue occurred at about 10:30 p.m. July 3. The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department (LFPD) had it under control about a half-hour after arrival.
