Grant Scharnhorst shut down Tracy Yankees, throwing a complete game shutout and leading LB Black to a 12-0 victory on Tuesday. LB Black opened up scoring in the first inning. Alden Schwartz drove in two when he singled. LB Black notched five runs in the third inning. LB Black offense in the inning was led by Adams Doyle, Amelia Sanchez, Mason Shelton, Jacob Roach, and Scharnhorst, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning. A single by Nolasco in the fourth inning was a positive for Tracy Yankees. Scharnhorst got the start for LB Black. He went five innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out 12 and walking one. Juull was on the mound for Tracy Yankees. They went four innings, allowing 11 runs on 11 hits and striking out two. LB Black had 11 hits in the game. Doyle and Scharnhorst all collected multiple hits for LB Black. Scharnhorst and Doyle each collected two hits to lead LB Black. LB Black didn't commit a single error in the field. Marcus Bernal had the most chances in the field with 12. LB Black tore up the base paths, as five players stole at least two bases. Brayden Vash led the way with two. Tracy Yankees stole five bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Walsh led the way with two.
