The Livermore Phantoms U14 Black played the San Ramon Raptors, which turned out to be a great match up. Both teams came ready to play and battled it out until the last horn sounded. Everyone chipped in as Nick Swartzendruber (37) had 3 assists, 1 assist by Luke Bauer (53), and two assists by Josh Gnoval (98). In addition, Ben Wojewski (17) chipped in by winning 77% of his face offs, Phantoms won ground balls 34-21, and Phantoms had 22 shots on goal vs. 20 by the Raptors. Andrew Kramar (8) had 6 saves, combined with N. Swartzendruber’s 2 goals, L. Bauer and Quin Wetzel (72) each had one goal, and J. Gnoval’s hat trick (3 goals) proved to be enough to fend off the Raptors 7-4.
