75th Anniversary of D-Day Commemorated in Livermore

The Daughters of the American Revolution Josefa Higuera Livermore Chapter commemorated the 75th anniversary of D-Day by holding a luncheon ceremony at Asbury Church in Livermore on May 4. The Guest of Honor was former Livermore mayor, Dr. John Shirley. Quilts of Valor were presented to WWII Veterans. Pictured, WWII veteran Jot Brown receives a quilt made by Jeanne Brophy.
