Community Police Academy Class #39

On Wednesday night, February 16, 2023, Community Police Academy Class #39 held their first class to learn more about Livermore Police. Participants met with Chief Young, Captain Boberg and Captain Cochran as well as received a tour of police headquarters. Wednesday night marked the start of the 10-week program that gives community members an inside look at law enforcement. Courses cover a range of topics including Patrol Procedures, Horizons Family Counseling, Records, Dispatch, School Resource Officers, Homeless Liaison Unit, Crime Prevention Unit, Traffic Unit, and Criminal Investigations Bureau.
