The 37th year of Deacon Dave’s breathtaking holiday light display kicks off on Saturday, Nov. 30, at 6:30 p.m., and will run until Jan. 1. Deacon Dave’s Casa del Pomba is located at 352 Hillcrest Ave. in Livermore.
Opening night, the home and yard will be dark, as a candlelight procession makes its way down the blocked-off street. Members of the community are welcome to join the procession which will feature the St. Michael’s choir leading Deacon Dave and Santa and Mrs. Claus to the home. Special guests wait at the home to welcome the procession and join the festivities. The theme will be announced, and the lights will be turned on.
