The Livermore Amador Valley Garden Club will hold its 34th annual plant sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, April 4, in the parking lot at Amador Valley High School, 1155 Santa Rita Road, Pleasanton.

The sale includes member-grown plants appropriate for local soils and climate. Shoppers can expect to find eatables, perennials, annuals, succulents, native and miscellaneous plants.

The annual plant sale supports the club’s community service projects, such as the 90-year-old Hansen Park Rose Garden in Livermore, the organic garden at Camp Arroyo, and Seed Share, one of the club’s newest projects, which provides free packets of seeds to patrons of the Livermore and Pleasanton libraries. The plant sale also assures that the club has the resources it needs to host speakers for the group’s monthly meetings.
