Livermore High School presents its fall play, “Puffs or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic.”

Puffs is straight from its successful three-year off-Broadway run. This play is set in England, where “for seven years a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs...who just happened to be there, too. A tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world. As the New York Times proclaims, ‘For Potterphilliacs who grew up alongside Potter and are eager to revisit that world, Puffs exudes a jovial, winking fondness for all things Harry!’”

The Puffs — whose motto is “Third or nothing!” — and those at this Certain School of Magic and Magic are portrayed by 14 cast members: Skyler Azevedo, Daniel Brown, Emerson Carr, JD Cerruti, Clarissa Cuenca, MJ Ghannam, Ashley Jensen, Kat Livingston, Athena McPeake, Vy Nguyen, Tylor Olcese, Amira Sain, Dylan Sanchez, and Fiona Smith-Calonico. A tech team of 26 performs the magic behind the scenes. Aveda Kedabra!

Enjoy this fast-paced and endearing romp full of wizard shenanigans through the hallowed halls of wizard school on Nov. 1, 2, 14, 15 and 16, at 8 p.m., at the LHS Theater, 600 Maple St., Livermore.
