Dennessa Atiles will be the featured speaker at the Livermore Indivisible general meeting on Sunday, Nov. 10, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. She is Indivisible National’s West Coast Senior Regional Organizer, supporting hundreds of Indivisible groups across California, Alaska and Hawaii that are organizing and advocating in their communities, and at state and federal levels.

Atiles will explain Indivisible’s current work, reviewing how National Indivisible works with and supports local chapters.

Separately, Livermore Indivisible will discuss Reclaim Our Vote: Fighting Voter Suppression. For background information, watch “Suppressed: the Fight to Vote,” a 35-minute film about voter suppression in Georgia.

The talk takes place at the Livermore Library, 1188 S. Livermore Ave. An optional $5 donation is requested.
