Book March Madness
Livermore students in grades 6 through 12 may vote for their favorite new book during the March Madness program at the Livermore Public Library.
Librarians have chosen 16 popular young-adult novels published in 2019. The books will face off against each other in a tournament-style bracket until one book is left as the favorite book of 2019.
The library will hold weekly prize drawings, so students are encouraged to come back every week to vote. At the end of the tournament, the library will choose three grand prize winners, who will be able to select any available book up to a $15 value.
Voting begins on Wednesday, March 4, with weekly drawing every Wednesday starting March 11. Votes will be accepted at all library branches. Students may submit one vote per week. The last day to vote is Tuesday, March 31. For more information, go to the Teen Space page at www.livermorelibrary.net, or call Caitlyn Lung, teen programming librarian, at (925) 373-5576.
