Amador Valley High School senior Kelly Meyrath received three service awards this year from the Pleasanton National Charity League Chapter.
Meyrath received the Senior Service Award with 433 hours of philanthropic service as a student member of the organization. She also received the organization’s Hourglass Award given to those with 100 hours of volunteer service during the 2019-2020 school year, and the Merci Award for the most volunteer hours, 108.
She and her mother also received a Mother-Daughter Award, presented to mother-daughter teams with 25 or more hours of philanthropy during the year. Other Mother-Daughter Awards were presented to Amanda and Teresa Dilger, Hannah and Joan Hart, and Kaitlyn Blair and Priscilla Moonsamy.
The awards were presented at the NCL chapter’s annual Senior Class Recognition at the Ruby Hills Country Club on March 8. The chapter recognizes philanthropic service to nearly three dozen Tri-Valley organizations.
