Check presented to Taylor Family Foundation

The Tri-Valley Beer Trail has more than earned its reputation as a craft beer destination, and its recent Spread Cheer With Beer campaign has proven it to be the best drinking game of the season. Newcomers, World of Beer and Thirsty Bay, added something different to The Tri-Valley Beer Trail who annually sets out to “Spread Cheer with Beer” by making a charitable donation of $20 for every beer passport that gets turned in. With a growing collection of 23 participating stops in Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin and Danville, beer lovers and ugly sweater supporters raised $1500 for The Taylor Family Foundation, a local non-profit working to preserve the wellness of children with life-threatening illnesses, developmental disabilities and youth at risk.

To start spreading cheer with beer, participants obtain a Tri-Valley Beer Trail Passport available from beer stops, shopping centers and hotels, and started sipping suds. It was stamped by their choice of any five participating breweries, taprooms or gastropubs and redeemed their passport via email or in person to ensure the $20 donation.

For those who wanted to support the cause without the hangover, Visit Tri-Valley offered a limited edition “ugly” sweater featuring the “Spread Cheer with Beer” slogan. Priced at $60, the Taylor Family Foundation received a $20 donation for every sweater sold.
