The Pleasanton Public Library has introduced a new dedicated space for the Lucky Day collection of books, as well as nearly 400 additional new materials, opening Sunday, March 17.
The Lucky Day collection is a popular feature amongst libraries nationwide, comprised of the most popular, in demand children’s fiction books and DVDs. Books and materials in this collection are available on a first come, first served basis and can be checked out immediately. Lucky Day materials are not eligible for “holds”, or are subject to the normal long waitlist. It is your "lucky day" when you walk into the library, and find the high-demand bestseller you were looking for available on the spot.
The new dedicated space and expanded book collection will be available beginning this Sunday when the Library opens at 1:00pm. Children are encouraged to stop by the library soon and try their luck.
