The Livermore Heritage Guild will present Ranchero Days as the theme for June 30 “Sunday at Hagemann” from 1-4 p.m. This year the Guild is featuring the Cavallo Cowgirls featuring the artistry of the 2017 California State Champion drill team every 30 minutes in the horse arena.
Cynthia Patton, Livermore’s Poet Laureate, will share Cowboy Poetry every hour. The Guild will provide grilled hot dogs and sausages celebrating the kick-off of the Fourth Of July Week.
Activities include experiencing different aspects of Californio Ranchero life. Explore the art and craft of making adobe bricks used in constructing buildings. There will be cornhusk dolls for entertaining children.
The mastery of the lasso will be performed by an expert in the horse arena. Learn some tricks yourself. The Arroyo del Valle 4-H Club will demonstrate their horsemanship skills in the horse arena.
Historical Ranch tours, art demonstrations and sharing ranch animal experiences are part of any visit to Hagemann Ranch.
The ranch is located at 455 Olivina Ave., Livermore.
