Charles R Vineyards kicks off the free Summer Ukulele Jam, led by popular singer/songwriter and strings teacher Steve Kritzer, Saturday, May 4 from 1 to 4 pm. Anyone with a ukulele is welcome to participate, music will be provided and include some easy songs for beginners. An open mic session gives those with more expertise a chance to strut their stuff. Summer Ukulele Jam starts May 4 and continues the fourth Saturday of every month, May 25 through September 28. The event is free of charge for participants and audience.

Steve Kritzer, a veteran of the Bay Area music scene, has entertained audiences around the world, recorded 5 award winning CD’s, and has been a highly-respected teacher for over 25 years. His teaching abilities include acoustic and electric Guitar (specializing in folk, Travis picking, bluegrass, swing, Celtic, and classic pop and rock), Mandolin, Banjo, Ukulele, Bass, Songwriting, and theory. “Ukulele brings out the joy in people,” said Steve Kritzer, “I’m really looking forward to the Ukulele Jam. Charles R Vineyards offers the perfect environment for us to gather and enjoy the afternoon.”

Charles R Vineyards is at the very end of Greenville Road. Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic to enjoy with a glass or bottle of Charles R wine, and enjoy the entertainment and natural beauty of the area.
