The 15th annual Western Region Challenger Jamboree will be hosted at the Dublin Sports Ground (6700 Dublin Blvd.) on May 24-26, 2019. The Jamboree helps provide an opportunity for individuals with physical and intellectual challenges a chance to have fun participating in little league.
From Opening Ceremony festivities to a variety of games available to participants, Little League Challenger Division Jamborees provide a unique experience for players, coaches, buddies, and volunteers. Thanks to the help and support of dedicated volunteers throughout the district, participants from a variety of Challenger Division programs in the area will have the opportunity to come together and experience a day of fun, socialization, and lifelong memories.
Volunteers are needed and key to the success of the jamboree. Food servers and buddies are needed for the day of the jamboree. Challenger Buddies are generally youth little league players, age 12 and older, who assist the Challenger players on the field by escorting them to bases as needed, helping them with equipment, and providing encouragement and support. It can be an extremely encouraging and enlightening time.
There are two sessions where help is needed: 8:30-11:30 and 12:30-3:30. Lunch is served to all volunteers. If you are interested in helping out as either a buddy or with food service, either follow one of the links below, or contact Natalie Collier at email@example.com.
