The Chicago-based comedy group, The Second City, will return to the Bankhead Theater in March for a single performance of its all-new revue, “Laughing for All the Wrong Reasons.”

A Chicago landmark for nearly 60 years, The Second City’s legendary comic style combines sketches, songs and improvisation, reaching more that a million theatergoers every year and launching the careers of such comedic stars as Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, Gilda Radner, and Bill Murray.

Now the next generation of Second City comedians delivers what the Chicago Tribune calls “a whole new, highly desirable plane of roaring comedy.”

The group will perform at the Bankhead Theater in Livermore at 8 p.m., Friday, March 20. Tickets are $20-$65 for adults, $20 for military and students under 21. To purchase tickets, call (925) 373-6800, or go to www.lvpac.org.
