Last week, Foothill High School hosted the Every 15 Minutes anti-DUI program, which derives its name from the frequency at which a person is killed in an alcohol or drug related collision in the United States. Every 15 Minutes consists of student participants re-enacting the catastrophic consequences that can arise when making the choice to drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs. This year’s program, which was presented by the Pleasanton Police Department and the PUSD for the seventh year, featured junior and senior students from both Foothill and Village High schools acting out a mock traffic accident, which simulated a fatal DUI collision.
