A conference in the lawsuit aimed at returning Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory retirees to University of California healthcare programs was postponed until June 11.

The conference had been set for last week after court schedules could not accommodate a May 6 trial date.

The lawsuit is being litigated in Superior Court in Oakland. It was first filed in 2010 and became a class action four years later.

The retirees are asking for a finding of liability and a writ of mandate that would require the University to return living retirees to its healthcare programs.

They are seeking financial damages in a separate phase of the trial.
