I have heard that thousands of Americans have contracted the novel coronavirus without realizing it because they are asymptomatic. These people are a separate group from those known survivors who must wait two weeks before re-entering society. Presumably both groups have antibodies that could be used to treat victims of this pandemic.

Additionally, and possibly more importantly, the unidentified, asymptomatic survivors who are currently self-isolating could re-enter society as human resource helpers if they are identified by testing. Therefore, isn’t it a good idea to promote general, widespread coronavirus testing to search for all individuals with antibodies?
