Hang on! Don’t for a minute think the Downtown Plan is a done deal. The posters around town call the city’s proposal the “Approved Plan,” but nothing is approved until we get to cast our ballots.
If you want 2X more open space than the city proposes, you’ll be voting for the Central Park Plan. If you think “open space” should actually be space that is accessible to the public, you’ll vote for the Central Park Plan.
The Central Park Plan includes all the essential elements of the city’s plan but in a reconfigured way that preserves a remaining patch of open space for everyone to enjoy.
The voting process will finally reveal the “approved plan.”
