The Alameda County Office of Education (ACOE) recently named Dublin Unified School District’s Michelle Patridge as one of the 2020 Alameda County Classified Employees of the Year.

Partridge was nominated as Classified Employee of the Year “because of her dedication, positivity and leadership in her work for Dublin Unified School District.”

Michelle leads the kitchen at Dublin High School and has served as a lead food service worker for eight years, many of those years spent at Wells Middle School. Her focus on great-tasting and healthy options for students and timely service make her kitchen productive. Her thoughtful approach to her work, willingness to listen to others and nurturing nature make her team stronger and have improved the workplace environment — from the serving counters to the kitchen back door.

In March, Alameda County school districts nominated exemplary employees in six categories designated by the California Department of Education (CDE): Child Nutrition; Maintenance, Operations and Facilities; Office and Technical; Para-Educator and Instructional Assistance; Support Services and Security; and Transportation.

A panel of judges from ACOE selected an honoree in each category to be considered for recognition by the CDE as one of the State Classified Employees of the Year.
