The Livermore Public Library will host several STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities for children this summer at the Civic Center Library, 1188 S. Livermore Ave. Children ages 5 and up are welcome at these free events.

• Sat June 2, 2018 1-3pm – Suncatchers. Learn about sunlight refracted into colors and make your own suncatcher.

• Sat July 14, 2018 1-3pm – Ceramic Coasters. See chemical reactions at work while creating a craft to take home.

• Sat August 11, 2018 1-3pm – Star Gazers. Learn about constellations and make your own star gazer.

The Livermore Public Library’s Summer Reading Program is a free program featuring special events and prizes for all ages. Scheduled events throughout the summer include storytimes, crafts, concerts, puppetry, and a wildlife presentation.
