The Livermore Public Library will host an online lecture by Marisa Villegas-Ramirez, a specialist in Latino student achievement for the Oakland Unified School District, on Chicano, Latino, and Indigenous identity in American history on Tuesday, Oct. 12. 

The free, Zoom-based lecture, “Indigenous Chicanos/Latinos in the US: 529 Years of Struggle and Resilience,” will begin at 7 p.m. To register, call 925-373-5505.
