The Livermore Chamber of Commerce launched an initiative last weekend to generate supplies for first responders during an event called Operation LOVE.

On April 18 and 19, Operation LOVE collected masks, wipes, gloves, sanitizers and more to donate to those on the frontlines of the pandemic. The program was put together by a nurse/chaplain who wanted to be sure the medical teams in the Tri-Valley region have the supplies they need to be safe as they care for others in the midst of the coronavirus crisis. The donations were received at the chamber’s location at 2157 First St. and ran from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
