Congressman Eric Swalwell’s local office will host emergency preparedness training in Dublin on Sat., March 21, and in San Lorenzo on Sat., March 28.

“California, particularly our 15th Congressional District, is a great place to live, but we’re prone to certain risks,” Swalwell said. “We have earthquakes, wildfires, and mudslides. Our beautiful Bay Area’s international profile could make us a target for terrorism. And public health issues like the new coronavirus can impact our day-to-day lives. These aren’t things we should worry about constantly, but they are things for which we should be prepared.”

The Dublin session will be 10 a.m. to noon, at the Dublin Library, 200 Civic Plaza; the San Lorenzo session will be 1-3 p.m., at the San Lorenzo Library, 395 Paseo Grande. Sessions are free and open to all residents of the 15th District. However, the district office is urging that people register at so staffers know how many to expect. The congressman will not be in attendance.
