Elizabeth Irene Bishop, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at her home in Livermore. Irene was born October 12, 1936, in Kansas City, Mo., and later made California her home.
Irene was a wonderful wife and mother. Her passion in life was floral design, and later in life she enjoyed collecting dolls. She was a member of the Golden Hills Doll Club where she met many wonderful friends.
She is survived by: her children John (Mitzi) Bishop, Cathy (Scott) Rich, and Christine Aarvik; her grandchildren Brad (Jennifer) Bishop, Christopher (Kailey) Rich, Cassi (Caleb) Mason, Amber (Pat) Campbell, Thomas Aarvik, Robbie (Julie) Rich, Jonathan Aarvik, and Henry Davis; her great-grandchildren Sydney and Elise Bishop, Addison and Jaxon Campbell, Cheyenne Mason, and a great granddaughter Aubrey due in June. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth Clark and Wayne Comstock, and her loving husband of 52 years, Robert King Bishop.
