Longtime Livermore Resident
Fredrick Forrest Lovell, 92, long time resident of Livermore, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2019. He is survived by Audrey Cedarlund Lovell, son Jim Lovell (Adelle), step children Linda Alvarez (Vince), Carol Malous (George), Vern Cedarland (Joyce), grandchildren Emily and Zachary, and many step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Fred was born in Hinsdale, IL on July 21, 1926. He moved to San Francisco with his first wife, Patricia Gebhardt in 1954 before settling in Southern California. Fred pursued a career as a bank manager and reinsurance marketing executive.
Fred loved to travel and met his current wife Audrey on a European vacation. They were married in Livermore in 1992.
He was an avid runner, completing over 620 10Ks and a dozen marathons. Fred ran and biked well into his late eighties.
Fred was a gregarious and well-loved member of the community. Fred and Audrey were active members of the First Presbyterian Church in Livermore. Fred will be missed by many.
