Heidi Probst Hinckley, 53, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2020, following a long fight with cancer.
Heidi was born in Livermore, California, on April 8, 1967, to Harmon and DeAnn Didericksen Probst. She graduated from Livermore High School, and attended Brigham Young University - Hawaii, Brigham Young University - Utah, and Chabot College in Livermore, where she received a degree in dental hygiene. She worked for her father, Dr. Harmon Probst, a dentist in Livermore, before she became too ill to work.
Heidi is survived by her parents; a son, Jacob Hinckley; her husband, Lee Hinckley; three brothers, Thayne Probst (Laurie), Lyle Probst (Jill), and Ryan Probst (Danna); and three sisters, Holly Huntington (George), Hilary Allred (Darin), and Heather Probst. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she served in many capacities. She was a loving and caring person who often helped others even though she struggled with the pain of cancer. She had many friends, always smiled, never complained, never forgot a birthday or any other special day, and loved buying and wrapping gifts for friends and family.
Her smile and loving ways will be missed. We take comfort in knowing that she is now out of pain and back with the Lord, where she began. Due to the current pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
