Judith JoAnn Martini Plummer, a resident of Livermore for 60 years, passed away on Dec. 31, 2019, of cancer. Born in Coon Creek, Kansas, in 1941. She attended Washington High School in Fremont, CA, where she met Milton Martini in 1955. They were high school sweethearts and dated for four years before being married on June 20, 1959.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a loving mom, wife, daughter, friend, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with family, sewing, serving others, caring for her grandchildren, being a homemaker, being part of the church, genealogy, and spending time with friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Milton J Martini; daughters Sandy Guymon and Sharol Loureiro; and son Milton Martini Jr. She is also survived by grandchildren Cody Guymon, Christy York, Brittney Grant, Alexus Grant, Alex Loureiro, Justin Martin, and Katie Martini; great grandchildren Jack, Fiona, Conway, Angus, Calvin, and Cora; sister, Nancy Beam; niece Debbie Plummer, as well as many cousins, nephew and nieces. Preceding her in death were a granddaughter, Kendra, and a grandson, Michael.
The burial will be at 10 a.m., Jan. 11, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Judes Children’s Research Hospital or Hospice of San Joaquin. An online guestbook is available for condolences at www.callaghanmortuary.com.
