Longtime Livermore, California, resident Patricia Rochin, or “Nanny Pat” as she was known by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 12, 2020.
She was known as the Pick Pocket Lady at the Marilyn Avenue Elementary School in Livermore for many years, and recently attended the school’s 60th anniversary. Pat also worked at Safeway in Pleasanton for many years, and spent more than 25 years in the banking industry before retiring.
She was known for finding deals at garage sales and thrift shops, loved the 99 Cents Only Store and Grocery Outlet, and looked forward to seeing her friends at Trader Joe’s. She would ride her red scooter between her favorite stores and her home., and enjoyed chasing geezers on her scooter. She also enjoyed cooking and feeding her family.
She is survived by her five children, 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and her little dog, Gizmo.
