With deep sadness from her family and many friends, the bright spirit and gentle kindness of Renee’ L. Gielow passed from this world at her home, under Sutter Hospice Care, in Roseville, California. Renee’s short, but heroic battle with pancreatic cancer was fought with the same courage, determination and positive attitude which was the hallmark of her life.
Renee’ was born in St. Paul’s Hospital, Livermore, California to Albert and Berenice Charvo. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving and caring uncle and aunt Bill and Mildred Clark; stepfather, Tom Stokes; brother, Albert Charvo; first husband, George A. Spiliotopoulos; and brothers-in-law, Gary Engelken and Brian Brennan. She is survived by her husband, Charles H. (Chuck) Gielow; two children, Christine Spiliotopoulos and Steven A. Spiliotopoulos; sisters, Leah Brennan and Judith Engelken; and nieces, Elizabeth and Mary Lynn Engelken and Christi Hardcastle and Cindy Charvo.
