Ronald J. Mueller was a fifth generation Californian, born and raised in the Livermore Valley. He lived on a ranch for 15 years before moving to Livermore. In 2004, he moved to Ione, California.
Ron worked for the Livermore Area Recreation and Parks District, first part-time and later full-time, for a total of 45 years. He was active in both the Livermore and Ione chapters of the Native Sons of the Golden West. He served as a board member for the Livermore Stockmen’s Rodeo Association for 20 years, and remained active, working at the rodeo until 2017.
He is survived by his wife, Jan, and two sons, Ronald Mueller (Kelley) and Anthony DeBok. He is also survived by three granddaughters, Jesselynn Mueller and Harley and Georgia DeBok; and a grandson, Jacob Mueller (Smita).
A celebration of life will be held from 1 - 5 p.m., on March 20 at the Veterans Hall in Livermore.
