Susan Elaine Wilson

Susan was born in Kentucky, attended the University of Kentucky, Louisville and graduated with a degree in English.

Susan was the former Director of Logistics with Stanford University Medical Center.

Susan Elaine Wilson, Medicine Dreaming Woman, was of Cherokee and Choctaw heritage, was a native trained Medicine Woman practitioner, poet, writer, playwright, meditation and creative writing teacher, astrologer, massage therapist, medium, and healer.

Susan is a five-time winner of the Lydia Wood award for poetry and prose, the 1997 winner of the Stanford University Medical Center Poetry Award, and published author of a book of poetry “Like a Woman”.

Susan touched, healed, and changed the lives of all who came in contact with her. She believed in Angels, The Seven Directions, and animal spirits. She was an Angel herself.

Susan is survived by her brother, Larry Wilson, who resides in Texas and her loving husband and soul mate, Leo DeLong who resides in Crockett.
