Livermore Baseball JR 90s Black slid into a blow-out win over Tassajara Valley. LB Black easily did away with Tassajara Valley 9-1 on Saturday. Amelia Sanchez led things off on the hill for LB Black. She surrendered one run on three hits over seven innings, striking out nine and walking one. Sanchez also had a single and two stolen bases. LB Black opened up scoring in the first inning. Marcus Bernal drove in two when he singled. LB Black notched three runs in the sixth inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Jacob Roach and a fielder's choice by Brayden Vash. Taylor toed the rubber for Tassajara Valley. They allowed three hits and four runs over two innings, striking out one. Giaramita and Cesca entered the game as relief, throwing three and a third innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively. Bernal went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead LB Black in hits. LB Black stole 14 bases during the game as four players stole more than one. Sean Epps and #7 Jacob Roach led the way with four.
