The West Coast Soccer (WCS) Kurse 01 Girls soared past the SACYSL NorthStars U18 team in Norcal league play. West Coast dominated the play from the start with consistent pressure, Kaya Scott started the scoring within the first five minutes of the game setting the tone. At the twenty-minute mark NorthStars answered on a cross and finish, making it 1-1. WCS Kailey Matta found Kaya Scott to take the 2-1 lead at halftime. The scoring continued for Kurse with a goal by Alexi Ochoa. Then Allyson "Taz" Thompson sent a direct free kick to Makeila Yancey for a fabulous fourth goal. Maddie Herrera joined the scoring. To sum up the match, Taz Thompson hit a straight-driven powerful left-footed shot to the upper corner of the goal. WCS ended the game with a 6-1 victory and a total of 31 shots on goal.

April 13-14 was another great weekend of soccer for the boys West Coast 2010 Earthquakes team. Keeping their winning streak alive started with a win of 7-2 on Saturday over Ballistic United. Defense consisting of Adrian McCall, JJ Medina, Nathan Bone and Lucas Boosahda kept the other team to a few shots on goal and Noah Miller as goalie made some great saves. Owen Amos and Malakai Gonzales held down the middle of the field allowing goals by Aiden Lopez, Tyler Plunkett, Nathan Bone Lucas Boosahda.

On Sunday, they played Ajax East Bay. They played a physical game and came away with a 5-2 win. Nathan Bone led the scoring attack with a hat trick scoring three goals and Tyler Plunkett and Daen Hansen each contributed with a goal. Once again, the boys communicated well and passed all over the field.
